Examples, method and limits

Find the geographic midpoint of two locations on a sphere.

Select the start and end locations, then run the tool.

The midpoint of longitudes 0 and 2 degrees on the equator is latitude 0, longitude 1.

Latitude and longitude are converted to radians to calculate a spherical midpoint.

The result is not a road midpoint and does not guarantee equal travel time.
