Quick monthly take-home pay calculator

What Does This Tool Do? Calculate estimated take-home pay from monthly salary and deduction rates.

Quick monthly take-home pay calculator User Guide

Calculates estimated take-home pay by subtracting a user-defined deduction percentage from gross monthly salary. This calculator does not automatically calculate actual withholding taxes or South Korea's four major social insurance contributions.

Easy Step-by-Step Instructions
Enter your gross monthly salary in KRW.
Enter your own estimated deduction rate based on your payslip or similar records.
View deductions and net pay. The 12-month equivalent does not include bonuses.

Sample Input and Results

Monthly gross salary: 3,500,000 currency units · Deduction rate: 9.4% → Deductions: 329,000 currency units; estimated take-home pay: 3,171,000 currency units. The 9.4% rate is an illustrative example.

How Calculations & Processing Work

Estimated deductions = gross pay × deduction rate ÷ 100. Estimated net pay = gross pay − estimated deductions.

When Using the Results

Dependents, tax-exempt pay, insurance contribution ceilings, South Korea's simplified earned income withholding tax table, and year-end tax settlement are not reflected. Check your payslip for the actual amount paid.
